Meet in the Middle 2024
 

We have selected the date and location for the Meet in the Middle 2024. It is going to be held in South Bend, Indiana on August 2-4, 2024. We have finalized a number of the details so we are ready for your registrations

First, as has been the case, we are having our Meet in conjunction with an automobile museum. In this case, it is The Studebaker National Museum. Like last year we are also working with the local Chamber of Commerce and Visitor's Bureau and are going to show our Micro and Mini cars at the city's First Friday local community event.

In addition to the showing of our cars at the First Friday event, we have been invited to join in at the Studebaker National Museum's Cars and Coffee on Saturday morning. So we get to show off our cars to the general public on Friday Night and to other car enthusiasts on Saturday morning.

​

Unlike previous years, we are changing our format slightly this year. Unlike in previous years we we set up a car show with just our Micro and Mini cars and then sat there all day, we are simply going to show our cars at these two events and then take advantage of numerous other fun locations in the South Bend area that you can drive to. Since we will be participating in the Cars and Coffee on Saturday morning which is being held at the Studebaker Museum parking lot, we hope that you will tour the Studebaker National Museum. We have negotiated a group rate of $10.00/person for you.  After you have toured the Museum, right behind the Museum is the Oliver Mansion. The admission to the Mansion is included in your admission price of the Studebaker Museum. This wonderful elegant 38 room mansion is also the home to the Copshaholm Concours d'Elegance each year. Also on the same site, there is The History Museum, which is included in the same admission ticket

.

After you have visited all of these sights, we have a 'Sweet' surprise awaiting you. We have arranged a tour of the South Bend Chocolate Factory which is a few miles from the Museums. Included at the Chocolate factory site is a soon to be opened Indiana Dinosaur Museum.

And if you thought you have seen it all, we have arranged for a guided walking tour of Notre Dame University. We will post the time(s) of these tours once we get a count of the number of people interested in going on this tour. If that isn't enough for you on Saturday we are looking for a fun place where we can all drive to and enjoy each others company at a fun, unique place for dinner.

​

On Sunday, we have made arrangements for meeting at the RV/MH Hall of Fame Museum in Elkhart, IN. This museum showcases the history of manufactured homes from the covered wagons with stops in the 30's, 50's, 70's and 80's, including travel trailers and entire houses.
